Right in the heart of the city. which means, Easy to access public transportations and the main attraction are Just in a walkable distance. The view is spectacular, the interiors and the ambience is astonishing.
Great sporting stadium with terrific atmosphere for all the cricket matches attended over the years. The recent Hundred competition is great for kids to come along to as all Newcastle casino over in about 3 hours with lots of entertainment including games and live music.
Top marks to this lady for personalised service. The leisure facilities were clean, quiet and well maintained. The steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were just what was needed. The breakfast was vast with something for everybody. Halal sausages on request and a smoothie station were a nice touch not seen before. The smoothies were nice and the staff took the time to voluntarily share information with you on what was in the smoothie. The stay was a delight with an easy check-in and check out experience. Overall, perfect stay with staff making it a memorable one when the opportunity did arise.
Miserable place. I challenge you to find the staff smiling and the floor manager is even worse. The culture must be really bad. Any attempt at having a joke with the staff is cut down straight away and treated as if customers are being rude.
We stayed here mid week and although the hotel was busy and we had a small issue with the TV in our room - this was resolved very quickly and all the staff were helpful and friendly in the process.
Everything about this hotel is superb. We needed a dog friendly hotel and it certainly is that. But that's not to say that any guests without dogs are aware of them as certain areas are understandably out of bounds to dogs.
I've stayed in this hotel on a few occasions. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms are beautiful with floor to ceiling
This has to be my favourite place in Birmingham. Loads of activities to do as well as many food options. Definitely recommend
The club room gives you access too the club lounge for a few hours in the evening with complimentarily drinks and snacks available which was hosted by Nevin who is honestly a fantastic ambassador for your hotel providing great service . I also visited the hotel bar later in the evening and they make great cocktails. The breakfast was great provided in a beautiful surrounding with eggs cooked freshly . Vegetarian options are available too. And the breakfast staff really wanted you to enjoy your meal.
Had a work conference and enjoyed the dinner party. Food was OK, large conference rooms and very nice staff.
Marvellous night out, great food and drinks, we had 10 oz rib eye steak and a perfectly prepared piece of hake, (had to congratulate the chef personally on that one). Loads of the latest slots and table games, and very polite and attentive staff. Great location, we arrived via metro.
But all machines were easy to use, clear instructions. The staff were really helpful, and with this being the first time we’d been to Birmingham and stayed in this type of accommodation we had plenty of questions! Genuinely they couldn’t have done more for us. The location was great as well - as others have said, the peace and quiet was there despite being so close to the city centre. Right round the corner from the building and central station, with lots of arcades and food areas nearby. Would absolutely recommend staying here - whatever the weather!
It's been a long time since I used this hotel, it's not as good as it used to be, the service has definitely gone down hill. The parking is a nightmare. What's happened to the concierge, a distant memory. There are much better hotels in Birmingham now. Disappointing.
Have a great time, nice staff and customers, who were happy to explain the rules, will definitely return and do recommend
